My PASSION is about my students! Over the years, I've taught hundreds from all over the world. I learn from them. I learn about them, their families, their home countries, likes, dislikes and goals. The more I learn about my students, the more I realize how much we ALL are alike.

How I got my start
I was first introduced to the fascinating world of teaching Citizenship and ESL when I worked at a manufacturing plant in Portland, Maine, that exemplified diversity. The founder had immigrated as a little boy, as had 80% of the employees.

I began volunteering after work in the Learning Center where Citizenship and ESL were offered to the employees. From there, I volunteered in an adult ESL classroom in the evenings.

Timing is everything!
An opportunity arose to get my TEFL Certification. Off I went to Guadalajara, Mexico, for an
intensive TEFL program - and graduated with Distinction, the highest achievement level. Mexico is magical, so I stayed for 2 years to teach ESL in Chapala, Jalisco, Mexico, first to businessmen in their workplace and then at a private school.

That's how it all began for me, but I'm not done yet! Working with students from
all over the world is my passion! It is a privilege to be able to help students on the journey towards unlimited potential.

"Audrey was one of my English teachers for the 3 months that I was in Boston studying English. She is very knowledgeable, organized, and professional. I enjoyed her private classes because she focused on specific grammar points with me. I felt comfortable talking to her about my family, my country and my businesses."

"When I return to Boston, I look forward to being her student again."
